It seems that every generation comes to think of the next generation's music as senseless garbage. Why, not long ago people even said that noise rock was just noise. And it's not limited to music, either! Any form of expression that feels vibrant and new to young people feels worthless and childish to older people. This comic, for instance, probably strikes many of you as stupid and amateurish. Fortunately for me, I've constructed this argument so that you all now look old and out of touch for feeling that way. So it looks like I win once again!
