I don’t know if this is new to our generation, but it seems that people these days spend a lot of time talking about TV shows. I like to think that television has taken its place among the great literature of the ages, but it could also be that the people I hang out with are boring (or illiterate).
There’s so much to watch, though, if you want to keep up with all of it. Who has time to watch through the entire run of a 50-year old, mostly goofy sci-fi series? Who has room in their life (and, just maybe, their heart) for such a show? Well, I do. Greg very emphatically does not, apparently.
