In all fairness to the other superheroes, we weren’t the very first ones. Either way, though, it’s hard not to get a little jaded at what the scene has become. It used to be so much more underground, you know? Back in the 80s, things were different… although part of that might be that I’m remembering the Ninja Turtles hanging out in sewers. Still, my point remains.
This wraps up our superhero story arc, but I’m sure we’ll see more crime-fighting in the future. It turns out it’s hard to write comics for years without resorting to costumed vigilantism. Who knew?
