What’s greater for a kid than an arcade that has laser tag, roller skating, climbing toys, indoor basketball, and bowling? Think of all those great birthday parties, or random afternoons, spent running around, saving up tickets for that big prize, or just improving your ski-ball game. What do we, as adults, have that compares?
That’s why this year, for my birthday, I’m going to get a bunch of guest passes to visit the campus of some hip tech company. The only thing I’ve got to figure out is the cake. If I pick a big enough company, though, it’s bound to be some employee’s birthday - we can always just hijack that party.
Alright, I'm confused at the transaction system at Ted's place of employment. As far as I know, you can either dispense tokens or collect tickets. But unless you are yourself a video game, you shouldn't be collecting tokens.
Ted actually collects the tokens from the machines. What he's getting there is a tip. It totally makes sense.
