Ted was arrested for a misunderstanding regarding his bank account. Greg is either being questioned about a few recent fires, or else he was at the scene of Ted’s crime with a musket, impersonating a police officer.

How come in the previous post, which is by Ted, he says "I had a job", but in this post, which is also by Ted, it says "Ted was arrested"?
Zach, in the previous post, it was Ted talking about a real-life event that happened to him and somewhat inspired the comic it accompanied. On the other hand, in this post, it is (still) Ted talking, but simply making a comment on how this comic relates back to the previous comic (hence the alt-text, "Hope all you like continuity!", not a real-life occurrence.
