There’s no getting around it: marriage is expensive. Weddings in particular are hard to manage on a budget. Greg and Mayra are very brave for embarking on this magical journey of financial hardship.
Maybe the various bill collectors that are standing in their way of saving up a wedding fund will let them slide when they see how truly in love Greg and Mayra are. Either that or maybe the couple can invite them to the big day, and even invite them to give toasts. In my experience, it’s hard to ask people for money after telling a room full of strangers how wonderful they are, which is why my career as a professional flatterer was so short lived.
