There’s always that moment of elation when you find out that you and a date have a common pastime. If you’re anything as neurotic and awkward as me, that moment quickly becomes a sinking fear that one of you won’t measure up.
Of course, the solution is to have the better of the two tutor the other. If TV and movies about high school have taught me anything, it’s that this is the perfect way to get closer to your love interest. That or by being lab partners, but until we find a laboratory that will allow me to pursue my unorthodox experimentations, that’s not really an option.
