I’m not the biggest gamer, but I sure do enjoy watching other people play. They make these games so long and complicated, though. Who can keep up with the specific plot points, or overall story, or basic premise? I feel like someone’s grandma at the movies, constantly asking which characters are which and why they’re doing what they’re doing.
In truth, I genuinely enjoy making up alternate possibilities for how you play a game. Some of my best gaming experiences were playing a game the “wrong” way, and some of my best ideas for games (that will never get made) come from misinterpreting existing games. So nobody steal my idea for the one about apartment hunting, I think I’m really onto something there.
