Daylight Saving Time is really all backwards, if you think about it. The sun itself gives us extra hours of daylight in the summer, we don’t really need to stack the deck in that direction. Give us a later sunset in the winter, that would make more sense. I could get behind a reverse-Daylight Saving Time situation, although truthfully I think we should probably just abolish the whole system, or, better yet, institute it year-round.

Of course, then we’d lose the treasured holiday of Clocksback, and the Hour That Doesn’t Count. Oh, the stories I could tell about Clocksback. Fictional stories, of course - the things that happen then are obviously non-canon.
