Yes, I went to PAX East last weekend. Overall it was pretty great.
But I came home and now I’m sick because of course I caught something at PAX. I always seem to catch something at PAX. I am going to start wearing a hazmat suit (or as Chrome’s spell-check recommends, a ‘razzmatazz’ suit).
The line for the new Ducktales remake/sequel thing was long. They were giving everybody seven minutes to play the game, which seems like a long time to sample something. Not to mention, the EVE Online booth was right next to us, with two guys over a loudspeaker promising ‘FREE SPACESHIPS! FREE SPACESHIPS! THEY WILL KEEP YOU WARM IN SPACE UNLIKE A T-SHIRT, DON’T YOU SEE THAT WAS A JOKE HA HA HO HO!’
Needless to say, it drove me a little crazy.
I was never particularly interested in playing EVE Online before, but now I definitely won’t. (Because I forgot to get my free spaceship, of course.)
There's a new Ducktales game?
It's a "remastered" version of Ducktales. They said it's a remake of the game plus some new levels. It has hand-animated sprites and uses the Ducktales voice cast. Kinda neat, but I wasn't crazy about the demo.
I can't stop laughing about the "razzmatazz" suit. Plus, I kind of want one…
