As concerned as we are about Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm, we can’t help being excited about the fanfiction possibilities this presents. Granted, in the strictest sense there has always been crazy fanfic, but now it could potentially become canon. I mean, do you really think they’ll never do any sort of cross-over? Down the line, on TV or something? It’ll just be a matter of playing six degrees of Princess Leia, at that point.
