It’s true: I haven’t been invited to my high school reunion. I don’t even know if it’s happening! None of my friends do either. It’s almost as if nobody actually cares about high school reunions anymore.
Some people had 5-year reunions, which seems… kind of silly? I dunno, most people I knew would come home at least once or twice a year during the holidays, so you’d generally run into people now and then. It’s not like people haven’t seen each other at that point.
Now, 10 years? That’s a big number. That’s plenty of time for everybody to have shifted away from how they were as kids and become the boring old weirdos they’ll be as adults.
