Don’t you hate that feeling of discovering that some brilliant, long-gestating idea of yours has already been done? It recently happened to me with a comic premise, and I’m none too pleased. It kind of makes you debate whether it’s still worth the effort of actually following through on your idea. Fortunately, the best part of any idea is imagining it and putting off actually creating it, so I guess there are worse problems to have.

Also, am I the only one who feels like people are just humoring me to get me out of their offices? It’s happening on an almost daily basis now. On the plus side, my doctor agreed with my theory that being humored is good for keeping one’s temperaments in balance, after I pestered him about it for awhile.
