Budgeting time has always been difficult for me (for both of us, really). So much to do, so little time to do it. Adding in a dose of reality only makes matters worse.

We’re brats, basically. That we have any leisure time in which to pursue anything at all should be considered a blessing. Instead we dramatize the struggle of not having to struggle, the torment of having to decide what to do with ourselves. We are dysfunctional human beings, although a more insulting word might be more appropriate.

But we can laugh about it! And if we can laugh about it we can make a joke about it, and make that joke a comic. And if we keep making comics about it, then maybe we’re solving the problem. Or non-problem. Whatever. Maybe then we won’t be so hung up on non-problems that we can actually accomplish something worthwhile in life.

We still won’t, but at least we can.
