Well, with the successful landing of the Curiosity Mars rover, it looks like one Giant leap for robot-kind. Still, humanity had a pretty solid hand in the accomplishment, and we all deserve to feel good about that, even those of us who spent the majority of the past three decades laying around playing video games.
