I always start getting a little sentimental when the fall rolls around. Sure, part of it is because this signals the part of the year when there’s all the best holidays, but the changing of the weather and the shifting of the season brings out this love of crisp air, colored leaves, and pumpkin-flavored everything. These are natural traditions in my mind, and I love them.
Still, I get Ted’s point. He’s started running a lot recently and doesn’t want to lose the ability to do so just because of the time of year.
I tried to help him out by giving him directions to the gym, but he called me and said he somehow got lost and wound up in the next town.
