I think we’re both baffled to think that anyone would ever trust us with any responsibility at all, let alone give us more after getting to know us. But we’re getting older now, and maybe people just imagine that that’s the way they’re supposed to treat us. Personally, I hope we don’t let it go to our heads, but we almost certainly will.
